Very good!

Now this is the kind of song i would really hear in a movie! the kind of scene that makes you think "hmmm the only thing that really makes this scene good is the epic music!" I really enjoyed listening to this song but there are a few changes that would just make this sound movie quality! Like for instance, you have some kind of percussion or bass in the background: switch that for some nice snare drums with some reverb would sound epic! Your bass is also on and off in this song, you should make it better and always there, just at different volume levels! also make it a song by putting some intro and outro! its not that hard to do really, but really changes the mentality of the listener.

Peace!

iHeartQuistis responds:

Hm, I was aiming for it being a loop... which is why I didn't exactly configure an intro & outro. And yes, the bass is probably due to my current headphones. I have a hard time EQ'ing bass with these things.

I LOVE IT

I absolutly love all your acapella songs! Hilarious, deep... epic

Stalagmite responds:

haha! why thank you baldrick! :D

Very nice

Very clean, very crisp, just love your beat and drums. Everything you got here is awesome! it's just what you dont have that annoyes me:
PUMP UP THE BASS

Mesmerizing

Awesome start to what could become my favorite song of all time! Perfect choice of instruments, perfect choice of effects. But remember always to keep your bass on or else it can lead to some awkward moments. but what happened at 0:24 to 0:28? seems you may have put the cut off to low or may of muted an instrument. Try using a little sweep effect and master your transitions. Be sure to spend allot of time on this one because this one has quite a bit of potential! Oh and also, almost forgot, try making some instruments sound more distant and maybe add some effects on the drums. messing around with grossbeat and reverb is always a good idea for me!

RealityVictim responds:

yeah i'll look into that thanks =)

Nice!

I gota say! I'm pretty impressed by what you set up here but the lack of reverb in most parts of the song leaves something to be desired. I swear i like all the instruments you put in here and all there respective melodys but some sequencing you did did catch me a little off guard.

- First off all, as i said, if you really want to make this song sound complete, you need to put some reverb in there. dont let there be a dry second because that is definitly the weak point in this song.
- Second of all, some bass furthur in the song would be good! like what you did from 1:50 to 2:14 but something that stays from that point on would be preferable. At least make it fade out because im sure you didnt want it to sound that way!
-Last but not least, fix the ending. I just hate awkwerd silences!

Nice use of the piano and reverb in the areas that you used it. I really like the drums too but they would sound alot better with some reverb.
Note: This would make a freakin awesome Hip-Hop song if you try putting in everything ive told you!

DjOros responds:

Thank you very much for the feedback :) I will fix it very soon, unfortunately this was just one of those thrown together songs so not much effort was put forth in it. Since you seem to like it - I will certainly fix it! I had been waiting on a friend of mine to record some trumpet thing he wanted to put in. (never got around to recording it so....) The base was somewhat of a dubstep wobble that I was experimenting with. :)

Once again thanks :)) Glad you liked it!

Verry Nice!

Love the instruments you used! the effects were done too near perfection but there was a bit too much bass in certain parts, like when you used the cut off, it cause some minor issues. Loved the melodys and how you made the song in different stages. But i think you could of either put the piano one octave lower or/and of used a different piano instrument.
Epic job with the synths! This song will be one to remember...

Cheers!

ShootingStar responds:

Yeah :D Haha Thanks for the criticism - I'll probably upload a new version soon :D

Wow!

Now i call THATS style! Drums and Bass are freaking epic man. Would probably do really good for a rap song of sorts but the ending was a bit... how to say... absent? Yeah i think thats how we say it. But anyway, you have a really awesome and not to mention "unique" style that you only hear in very professional songs. You should probably try doing some club music or drum'n'bass. I would LOVE to hear it!

Cheers

Timber-Wolf responds:

Hi, thanks for the long review. That track was made AGES ago, and I thought it never got put up. I'll be uploading more tracks soon, keep watching! =D

Pretty nice!

I like alot about this song but it was lacking in effects like reverb and there wasnt much of an outro. I love your work with the drums but you should concentrate on buildups and playing alot of instruments at the same time not all with the same rythmic pattern will make your songs feel alot more "populated". Still, you seem to have alot of potential so i'm going to stay tuned!

Cheers!

TrueManBearPig responds:

cool beans man, thanks for the input. i actually made this song because the power went out and i was watching the goddamn olympics when it did. so i broke out my laptop :P

Awww Man...

What a great song! love the flute and the guitare most of all: If they arn't real, their the next best thing. Nope actually they are fake because i think i can hear your telephone rigning in the background! HA. Absolutly LOVE the feel to the song. You used the best instruments you could of possibly used and the rainforest in the background gives it a really mystical feel. May i say encore?

Cheers!

Tysuru responds:

haha, it's a real guitar. =p

As well an ocarina. I'm glad you liked it. It thought it gave the song a little "darker" twist.

Thanks for the review! means a lot! =]

Dude! FUCKING RESPECT

That's exactly what i was going to say except you said it really fast and i didnt really have that catchy music in the background.

Stalagmite responds:

oh SQUEEEEEEE :D thank you!!!!!!
