Review Request Club
Hey! It's time for a kick ass review! i actually tryed to review this song yesterday, but i was kind of in the middle of something... so here i am. I have to be honest with you, this is my first time reviewing a classical song. But i do listen to some and if i dont review your song, no one else might review it. So il give it my best shot!
The title of this song actually borders on the line between casual and cheesy but it actually corrects itself when you read what it really reprisents. But i would actualy use the word you used before: Angelic. or at least something revolving around that word for the title.
Weak points:
- I actually disagree with the others. I actually think it has a good speed to it. In fact, i think it might even sound better if it was slower.
- Something that really caught my attention in this song is that it seems a bit square. as in it isnt smooth enough. especialy for the strings, this problem was very noticable. For this you should try using some effects to at least cover it up a bit. maybe trying... i'm not to sure about this one tho... reverb? might help. try it out and if it doesnt work, keep on looking.
- This song also lacks an intro. You should at least add a 10 second intro that is different from the rest of the song with the piano and some other intruments. But if you dont, you should at least try to make the song start quicker since the beggining is very ordinairy compared to the rest of the song. Unless you attempted a build up intro wich, in that case, i would propose that you let the instruments at the same vilume level as the rest of the song.
- I think you got the right instruments for the right jobs but for the arp, i think you got the right idea, but it seems to stand out a bit too much from the rest of the song.
Strong Points:
- Nice choice of intruments; every instrument seems to be playing as a whole, each charing an equal part.
- Nice melody! this would definitly sound great with a real orchestra.
Instruments: 7/10
Melody: 8/10
Editing*: 7/10
NOTES: there are alot more strong points, but the important part is there. Job well done. I'm sure she appreciates the song, but it might need some final touches.
