I have to say, I'm usualy into more electronic styles but there is no denying the epicness of an awesome guitar riff with the right amount of distortion.

You have some terrific riffs going on in here with obviously a good amount of potential to make something bigger out of it but the production quality really leaves something to be desired. You need to try and give your song some sort of progression starting with the melodics. Every rock song follows a specific structure going bar by bar, not all tracks are structured the same way but they follow the same main ideas. adding drums to this would already make the progression that much more significant. One last thing is that you don't need to have distortion all the way turing the whole song. a cleaner alternative would be nice for the intro for example, opting for more traditional accoustic chords.

All and all, I enjoyed this but it left a lot to be desired.

First off, I would like to thank you very much for the review.

I do understand the quality issue and I wish I had a way around it. With the equipment that I use it's hard to get a very clean distorted sound out of it. I currently use my Rocksmith Guitar Cable and Mixcraft with some different VST's to achieve the sounds.

I'm thinking of maybe adding a rhythm guitar along in the track so it will stand out a little more and give more of a full feel along with drums and bass.

Since you're more into electronic styles, I actually tried my hand at electronic music and I could upload it to see what you think. It is very clean and I was able to time everything really well.

This is a pretty good track! I recognize the nexus lol x3 You should try some extra filtering and automations for transitions and such, your intro needs a bit more build and your drums are a bit overpower. Also you should try leaving a bit more room in your mix because at times it does get rather cluttered. im not sure if you have reverb on your bass but taking that off would really help in the mastering aspect too. I like your melodics tho! If you work harder on the mastering and mixing side of your tracks you might have a better chance next year.

If you could tell me what you think about my latest track "My World" That would be sick as **** :D

larrynachos responds:

I'm terrible at mixing, so the instruments never blend together properly. Automations are nice, but I really didn't feel the need to include them in this song. I agree with everything else, though. Thanks!

Pretty good! I'm a 5 year veteran of FL and i gotta say this is a pretty solid start! you want to remember to keep your instruments and percussions compressed and EQed and such but you probably have a long learning curve ahead before you really figure that out. Your melodics are solid tho! and your structure too. I dig it! If you could tell me what you think about my latest track "My World" that would be great!

Hey man! Thank you for your rewiew and advice :D And yes I am and absolute begginer in Fruity loops, downloaded it for the first time few days ago, i just watched ytb videos about FL basics and decided to give it a go. Didn't do any mastering at all just playing with volume so yeah it still needs a lot of work. I'm glad you liked and if you wanna do some kind of colaboration I would be more than glad to do it, if not well glad you liked my song anywas :) Thanks! Oh yeah writing you a rewiew, peace!

Nice original song with a catchy melody and good lyrics! I definitly enjoyed this little song :3 I kind of wish you would play the guitar a bit softer tho and the vocals could shine through allot better if you record both separately. Also, You know there are some great drum vsts out there that sound almost as good as the real thing if you want to add a drum line without having a real drumer

All in all you've got great composition skills and a talent for the guitar but you need a bit more finesse when it comes to your guitar and a drum line would do this song some real good, i can promise you that. Hopefully with a little mastering and preperation, if you record this track properly you could make it a hit!

Keep up the good work dude!

Stereocrisis responds:

Thank you alias, I'm grateful that you listened.

Your intro was very quiet right off the bat but when the piano came in it really sounded magical. I also really enjoyed your unique sounds and progression. The hats couldn't have been better placed in the buildup. You had some interesting instruments although i didn't completely enjoy all of them you did have some great melodies going on. I really enjoyed the breakdown at around 2:25 also although it was rather sudden i did enjoy the change of pace and when the main melody came back in.

All in all, A good song with a unique structure. I enjoyed it allot and i look forward to checking out some more of your tunes.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review this song! I truly appreciate it.

I'm sorry about that opening. I kept trying to adjust the volume to get it right for the beginning, because I really wanted to do a fade in type of intro. When I checked it, I thought it was okay. I was wrong though :(

I'm glad you enjoyed the song overall. I'll keep working harder to make better music. Again, thank you for your review!

OMFG This is the shit right here!!! I'm so glad you finished this track! It's fucking amazing! I love the percs and the bass especially, but your track structure is equally well done!
You keep them tracks comming! :D

Zinitymusic responds:

Haha.. Thank you! ;-)

This thing blows my mind every time i listen to it. The percs are perfect, the mastering is perfect and the melodies are catchy as hell. Not to mention the build up is slow (just the way i like it) and it just keeps on getting interesting! Keep thoes tracks comming man! You're freaking awesome!

D-Chain responds:

Thanks Alias! it means allot when my music is appreciated in such a manner.

Epic as always! All your instruments work really well together and you really seem to have a talent in track progression. Your mastering is pretty good too! Keep thoes tracks comming!
P.S.: Never noticed you were in Voltage Square too.. Would love to work with you sometime!

Zinitymusic responds:
